Since Bear Bryant retired, Alabama has gone through seven coaches in 24 years. One never coached a game. Bill Curry was chased out of town after his third season, in which he went 10-2 and led the Tide to an SEC title. Only Gene Stallings lasted more than four years (7). However, this is better than Nick Saban, who has yet to remain anywhere beyond five years. The guy has Mayflower on his speed-dial and there are probably more Century 21 agents following him around town than Britney Spears has paparazzi. Yet Alabama, in its infinite wisdom, signed Saban to a 10-year contract.

I am considering buying a goldfish. Which do you think is more likely to still be around at the end of the 2016 season?

When will you Dolphin fans grow up, move on, and quit whining about what a low-life Nick Saban is ? I didn't hear all
this crying when he went to Miami. I see it like this : He left Michigan State for a better job (LSU) in a better conference,
the SEC. He left LSU to try his hand at NFL football. Then he
realized college football was where he belonged, so he took
the offer Alabama made to him.
You Dolphin fans are just angry that a good football coach prefered to be somewhere other than Miami.

Well, obviously since a goldfish has no chance of still being here in 2016 the only possible answer here is Saban.

I think you might be surprised. Clearly Nick Saban didn't enjoy coaching in the NFL. He is more of a college coach control oriented guy. Since Bama has made him the highest paid college coach ever, I think he will stay there quite a while.

The question is can he get Bama's program back up to the level that its tradition deserves? You are no longer even near the top tier of the SEC anymore. With the recruiting classes of Tennessee, Florida, LSU and South Carolina, Bama won't be there anytime soon either!

Dude, definitely the goldfish. Saban has already managed to upset the local populus by blurting out semi offensive remarks. The only reason the school did not let him go then is because they would have embarassed themselves even further than what they already have. Alabama and Saban do have one thing in common though, disloyalty. Saban is a liar and Alabama is a CYA school that will never admit any wrongdoing in anything.

If he can't beat Auburn either, I'd definitely go with the goldfish, because Auburn vs. Alabama isn't your everyday rivalry . It's like a loser leaves town match for the coaches.

I would take a dead, bloated goldfish over an egotistical, lying, coward any day.
