yes it was brilliant love the old BBC globe at the beginning of each episode and the Camberwick Green with Sam coming out of the music box and Gene Hunt kicking in a nonce then them both waving at the viewers was brilliant, this was also the trailer for the second series so it was great to see it again.
The episode was very good especially when Sam was getting flashbacks and could see things that had happened like Annie wanting to go to the Roxy Music concert with Sam and when DS Ray Carling said he has been up all night Sam saw him asleep, very clever programme and will be much missed when its finished.
Lets hope the spin off Ashes to Ashes is as good

I love life on Mars but I have found the whole of this series disappointing I couldn't wait for it to be shown so I am watching it in the hopes it might just get back to the standard of the first series, the camblewick green send up was funny.

Yes, the Camberwick Green start was brilliant!
Gene Hunt just gets better and better. My son tells me they're doing a spin-off, taking out Sam Tyler and just making it a '70s cop show - fantastic!!

An absolutely brilliant prog, be sorry when it ends. They could alway's bring back re-run's of the sweeney though--in fact a 70s re-run revival wouldn't go amiss at all, instead of all the rubbish they keep on showing from two or three years ago.

Yes, excellent. Mind you I think their all great.
The Camberwick Green bit was a stoke of pure genius. Nostalgic, funny and disturbing all at the same time.

I love that show. Unfortunately here in Canada we just started to see it and I really don`t know what season we`re watching. We haven`t seen the episode you`re talking about.
