Does this outfit sound okay for a Hollywood glamour theme party,1950's style?
Black dress,cut just below knee,fitted,pencil style,stockings with piping,pearl necklace,black elbow length gloves, black heels,peeptoe kind,a fake fur shoulder throw,and hair in a beehive,with a french roll at the back,side swept fringe?I wanna look audrey-esque,does this fit the bill?

sounds good, but don't forget to get seamed stockings and wear them with a garter belt. Get the sheer black kind, as in the 50's nylons as they called them were always super sheer and shiny, that's why they were so glamorous. Plus the stocking top and garter belt added a lot of interest.

Sounds great, just to finish off completely why dont you get one of the long cigerette holder things that Audrey is smoking in Breakfast at Tiffiny's? When she sets someones hair on fire? You dont have to smoke anything, it would just be a prop!

Make the stockings authentic fully fashioned ones with reinforced feet, seams and a keyhole in the welt.
