America isn't a dangerous place at all. People tend to think that way because Hollywood loves to make movies about crime-ridden neighborhoods in LA, but one section of LA isn't the whole country. If you're thinking about visiting be smart and go to places where tourists would go. Try to stick to the main attractions in the city, and if you're going out in the country there is no need to worry about crime.

The US is no more or less dangerous than anyplace else. There are dangerous areas, of course, but that happens everywhere. As a tourist, you should have very little problems avoiding any potentially bad areas. Don't expect the US to be what it looks like in movies and on tv. That's why "everyone" says America is a dangerous place. Many of those "everyones" have never visited or have only seen a tiny piece of it. The country is HUGE and very varied. I hope you come visit. Bring a friend or 2. I'd be shocked if you didn't have a great time!

America is dangerous because we have a cut-throat government that has the bully like mentallity.

It ripple efects down to the people and we become competitive and sacrifice whatever or whoever we need to , to gain wealth, status and personal satisfaction
