Try using a stick with a magnet attached to it and just magnetize all the needles. The straw should be left behind.

damn, Soren :o) that's so easy
first you pick up the needles, and put them back in their own individual haystacks, then you have the straw all on its own...poor lonely straw, smack it's bottom for breaking the camels back, talking of which, did you watch the final episode of Greys Anatomy?
