My washer wont fill up with water!?

I have a kenmore washer, and it isnt old. I turn it on, and the water starts filling up, but stops after about 15 seconds. If I turn it off, then back on, it just does the same thing. What is wrong?

I think a faulty timer is one possibible cause.
