An Impreza P1 will do Santa Pod's 1/4 mile in about 12 s and hit 110-120mph. Since a 1/4m = approx 400m and cars tend to accelerate faster from 0-60 than they do from 60-100 then I reckon your average 250bhp impreza should get to 60 in about 150m ish.
dependant on tyres, driver, surface, etc etc...

It would depend on more than just horsepower, things like the suspension set-up, wheel size, tyre choice all make a difference as well so its hard to say. Try looking it up on-line or go to subaru forum. Are you sure its how many metres it takes or how many seconds it would take, it seems some people are getting a little confused?

If you're trying to test the 0-60 speed, remember to leave room for the stopping, ie: 0-60-0. if you can get a kilometer or so (about half a mile) ot should be enough

Your best bet is to just try it. It can be done mathamaticaly but it's very complicated. Try it or find a physicist.
