well im lookin for techno or rave right now but any will do, i want some songs that are sad and good, and if its techno, songs similar to "better off alone" by alice deejay would be ok, but any would do though, be it jazz, spanish, pop, rap, rock etc... i like all kinds of music

SAD or ROCK? Okay.. I'm no longer certain on that. If through unhappy you imply.... gradual and style of emo... Evanescence has plenty of those, as good as rock, reminiscent of: Hello Like You My Immortal Your Star Missing All That I'm Living For Sweet Sacrifice Weight of the World Going Under The Veronicas: All I Have Heavily Broken In Another Life Someone Wake Me Up My Chemical Romance has plenty of well rock songs, and so does Switchfoot.

I like listening to "The Cooper Temple Clause" a lot at the moment. They are stars in the UK (where they come from) and Japan at the moment but I am sure they will soon be known all over the planet. They are said to be alternative music but I like that they mix certain music styles together: alternative, rock, techno-kinda music, slow music etc... Blackstar (Talib Kweli and Mos Def) - conscious hip hop that sends a good message to people, and are respected by the industry.
As for rock, the new Tool album is good.
