I was circumcised when i was three. Im now 17 (2 months until 18) and i still have the scars from where they cut the foreskin...........My What should i do? Is this normal?

It's normal. I have the same thing. Not much you can do about it.

Yes, I'm afraid this mutilation is very common in the US, though not in other countries. You'll have the scars and discoloration for life.
Fortunately, less than 60% of newborn males are now circumcised in the US. Just remember when you have kids not to put them through this unnecessary operation.
Your parents also robbed you of thousands of nerve endings that give you extra sensitivity - there is no way to recover that.
There are no medical reasons for circumcision - see the policy statements from the American Medical Association and the American Pediatric Association - they do not recommend routine circumcision.

Depending on the skill of the surgeon, the amount of scarring and how noticable it is varies from one man to another. However, like any scar, it will remain forever...

I consider myself lucky my parents didn't make that choice for me. The head must be pretty numb compared to a non-circumcised after a lifetime of rubbing against clothing.

very normal. it's called a circ halo. nothing wrong with it; i even knew a dude who didn't have the dark line around his circ, and had it tatoo'ed on. it's ususally a darker line when some type of crushing device was used to do the circ. i personally think circ haloes are kinda cool.

Absolutely normal, nothing wrong with it, we all have it (circumsiced guys), and we all learn to live with it. Relax and Good Luck!!!
