No bank problems as such; they want to charge me to cash the cheque!

She could transfer the money electronically to your bank account and this would probably be cheaper for you. Usually the fees charged by UK banks for cashing a foreign currency cheque are quite high and it can take weeks for them to clear. Whereas for you to receive a transfer from an overseas bank account, the UK banks usually charge approx. GB £12.00.

Hi!

Yeah, they could send you an International Money Order, but your bank may well charge you for cashing it.

If my buyers don't have Paypal, then I tell the buyers that I charge £25 to cover such fees and administration - remember you have to take the time to go to the bank etc.

Whatever you do DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH WESTERN UNION - Scam, scam, scam!!

Best of luck!
