I started watching WWWF in the late 70s. Bob Backlund was champ, but I liked Jimmy Snuka(the heel version), and Superstar Billy Graham. Living in the northeast, it was the only show on at the time. When WWF went national, my favorites were Roddy Piper and Junkyard Dog. When we got cable, I discovered the AWA and NWA. I liked Nick Bockwinkel, Larry Zybysko, Curt Henning, Ric Flair, Rick Martel, Scott Hall, Greg Gagne, the Von Ericks, and Eddie Gilbert. My favorite show then was the Saturday night NWA show on TBS. Flair had a title match every week then.

When I was 6 years old I remember most of my family got together for some reason. I didn't pay attention much to the TV at first, but after a couple hours, I remember glancing at the TV and seeing Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant going face to face with millions of flashes going off. The next thing I remember was the slam and Hogan getting the win. At that second, I caught the bug and still haven't given it up. After that, I was rolling, I used to get up early on Saturday mornings, not to watch cartoons, but because at 6am there was a WWF show, at 9am WCW show would be on, from 10-12, 2 more WWF shows. I used to watch every show I could, from The Action Zone to Jakked/Metal to Livewire to Shotgun. My first WCW experience was Hulk Hogan's ticker tape parade. My first ECW show was Wrestlepalooza 98. I didn't attend my first wrestling show until 1998 when Steve Austin and Mike Tyson went head to head in Fresno, California. I will be attending my first Wrestlemania this year, I leave in 7 days, 17 hours, 48 mins and 38 seconds.

I got started watching WWF. Have also watched WCW, NWA, ECW (Both new and old) and TNA. I also used to watch GLOW. Have been watching wrestling for about 25 years now. Growing up, Hulk Hogan was my idol. I watched everything he did including all of his matches, Rocky 3, A-Team and Thunder in Paradise. Imagine how happy I was when while attending a wrestling event in Tucson in 1991, Hulk Hogan stopped by and shook my hand while on his way down to the ring. I have been and always will be a HULKAMANIAC!!!

I know I am totally dating dating myself, but my first chilhood memory was watching wrestling at like 2 years old. The Yukon Lumberjacks, Superstar Billy Graham. I was a fan when the WWE was the WWWF (World Wide Wrestling Federation), before it was even the WWF.

I also started with Georgia Championship Wrestling in 1980. My dad would watch it every now and then, but my cousin was the one who got me watching regularly.
It didn't take long for me to fall in love with the sport of wrestling, as opposed to "sports entertainment", and that love still remains after 27 years.

early to mid eighties. Rock-n-Roll Express v. Midnight Express was big. Magnum TA was still around. The Four Horsemen were Flair, Tully Blanchard, Ole & Arn Anderson.
my earliest WWE memory is that whole Lou Albano/Cyndi Lauper/Wendy Richter (I think that was her name) angle. My memory on that one is a little fuzzy. I was more into NWA.
