I know that for myself it was the most terible thing that could happen to me. I was no longer in my twenties and no longer classed as young. Many people would say to me "Oh, your getting old now" How did you react, or did it not bother you in the slightest.

When I turned 30, I didn't really care, it felt just like another day. But when I turned 34 (2 weeks ago), I realized how old I was, close to 35. I looked at my life and realized I had achieved almost nothing in my LONG life. But now I feel better, anyway, I'm young inside!

I cried my eyes out. Had been divorced all of 2 weeks. A newly single mom with two growing active boys under 5. Out of work because I just moved back from another state. (Hubby thought being too close to MY family was the problem so we moved close to his...he soon realized our families weren't our problem), and back living with my parents!!!
Bless my father. Found me crying asked me what was wrong. I lamented my whole "poor me" story and he says to me. "You have two beautiful boys to raise and you are doing a fantastic job. If all you EVER do in your life is raise strong, morally sound, "good" men, you've accomplished a lot". Needless to say that made me feel bad for feeling bad....lol!!
Oh I also got my first tattoo!!!!

I was fine with it. A friend and I swore that when we turned 30 we would go to California and drive from bottom to top and see everything.... and we did!
40 was all right, but turning 44 last month was depressing.

It didn't bother me in the least.
I'm 39 now, will be 40 in May...not buggin' me at all.
I could run circles around my son and his friends.
I've never felt better...I'm as strong as ever.
I can party and throw down with the best of 'em.
I can afford my toys now...makin' a damn decent livin'.
I still get carded for smokes and booze.
...OK, my hair's thinnin' a bit. *shrug*
What's not to like?

No, I'm turning 28 tomorrow, and it's like 30 really, I'm putting all I can into life, I'd rather die while trying hard at something than sitting around worrying...
F***, either god or myself decided to give me this body/life, it can't be for infinite suffering, everything's gonna be ait'.

I had a blast when I turned 30 I was celebrating like mad just because I was glad i wasn't turning 40!

yet to turn 30. so far i'm doing ok about getting old. but who know things might totally change by the time i reach 30.
