It affects mainly T-shirts, sweatshirts etc - they develop random red patches where the dye seems to have bleached out. We have changed from Ecover to Persil (non-bio) - no difference. It happened with our old Zanussi washing machine too (current one is a Bosch). We have hard water. It affects clothes belonging to all members of the family though mostly my husband.

My guess would be maybe the detergent isn't mixing in thouroughly, and concentrated portions end up on the fabric and bleach it. If that sounds like it might be it, try filling the washer half full with water, then add soap, and let it agitate for a few minutes before adding the clothes. Then let it fill up the rest of the way and do the normal cycle from there.

Also you might want to look into whether it is something else you are using throughout the day that splatters on your clothes and leaves bleach spots. Some skin care products bleach fabrics, and even some hand soaps can if not rinsed out right away. Both of those have happened to me. Other things that can bleach are lemon and vinegar... if someone is splattering their lemonade or salad dressing on their clothes that could potentially bleach, too.

I have heard there are some detergents or additives you can get to combat hard water, too. Not sure if they are sold where you are at.

I am a laundry expert. This sounds more like bleach marks that anything else. If you use tablets direct into the drum then this would enhance that probability. Unfortunately it could also be rust or deoderant.
Always use colour laundry detergent for coloured laundry.

I consistently attempt to allow adequate water get interior the gadget that the softener doesnt touch the garments formerly the water, or I combination it with water first formerly putting it in.
