With the new budget just released and cat tax set to go up i'm curious to know what car tax band a bmw z3 falls into? anyone own one and know the answer?

With the new budget out I was wondering if anyone owns a BMW Z3/ knows which car tax band it falls into, It's a 1997 2 door 1.8 engine by the way!

It falls into the band for vehicles first registered before March 2001 with engines greater than 1549cc. The current rate is £180 for 12 months.
Only cars first registered from March 2001 are taxed based on CO2 emissions.

Need to know what year your car is and if its after 2001 need to know co2 emissions from log book.

As it was registered before 2001, you are still on the £175 for the year band, dunno if that went up as well.
