yes. at my grandparents house we had so many toys. they kept a bunch around for the grandkids, and we had tinker toys-I loved building with em, and linkn' logs!!
and legos.
ahhh-good times.

I do remember them, although I never had any. Many of my nephews and nieces played with them in the early 60's. I built buildings etc from bricks that were similar to Lego (in the late 50's) and found the tinker toys kind of uninteresting. I did love the meccano sets though.

lol, thats me! I loved it at Christmas sitting in front of the tree with that metal can just loveing those and the log cabins thing too that also came in a tin. We didn't have a big choise of toys back then but it was so...fun♥

oh yes, I loved them and Lincoln Logs, and most number 1 toy an erector set I played with it all the time. Do you remember watching Winky Dink, Bozo, or Underdog on TV?

Some great architects arose from the experimenting with tinker toys....
The Logs ....Lego's.....
And finally bricks ...cement....and structural steel.......
Lead me to experiment with House of cards...
Gallons of glue and tooth picks...and or Popsicle sticks too..

Yes, We had some in the metal can...I remember getting in trouble becasue my brother always said I tried to squish it and ruin it.

Yes, I loved them, but the cardboard pieces to the windmill always got bent!
They were sooooooooo much fun!
I love Lincoln Logs, too!
