Compare the height of Indian SU Vehcles (Safari, Scorpio and Sumo) with Tucson, terracan, Cayenne, X Trail, Vitara etc., any advantage?. Actually when you see parked beside the other SUV's, these looks very ugly, without appropriate width.

Indians like to have this type of design for their cars... that is why they manufacture them and drive them... it is Indian's choice...

Indians do not bother what non-Indians think about their choice...

Due to unsafe driving practice at indian roads and stubborn truck drivers force indian mentality to prefer SUV llike Safari ,scorpio etc and also due to bumps on the roads forces use of higher ground clearance.

For SUVs there are special design considerations keeping in view special driving conditions and safety of inmates. it may look odd when compared with other on road vehicles.Then you have choice to select the vehicle

No, Indian road are too rough so Indian people use Suv.

So what is your real question? I have a Santa Fe and it is just fine. Being "too" tall can cause your vehicle to be susceptible to turn overs, and I am sure that would make for a bad day.
