I don't want to have to enter my password each time my computer starts/restarts, or I change the configuration settings.
I did have it set up this way, but it has changed and I have to type the password every time.
Any help I would really appreciate!!

The password is my wireless internet password (to make the broadband internet connect through the USB adapter)

You should see the little "wireless computer" in the lower right hand corner of your screen when the device is attached.

Double click the icon. Then click "View Wireless Networks"

Then on screen opens you will see some items on the left. One of them is "change the order of preferred networks" click that.

It will bring up a list of all the networks you have connected. Highlight the one that is giving you the problem and click "Properties" at the lower right center. Then enter the correct password for the network and apply. That should get it.
If necessary you can also get to this from the "Network Connections" in the control panel.

well not sure but if you go to user accounts in the control panel and setup new screen name you can get in without entering a password just don't put one in.if you are the adminastrator you can cange any account and password.i never heard of using a password for usb adapter. but if you have to you can delete the link by going to control panel and see if there is a wireless file in your add and remove programs.or maybe go to programs and delete the wireless file then unplug the usb and restart them shut down
restart
shutdown then plug in your usb drive and restart and see if it self installs or do you have a install disk
