I want to get my belly button pierced but want to keep it clean. What is a good ointment for it?

You don't really use an ointment. When you get it pierced they will give you or tell you what to use. When I got mine done they gave me cleaner like what you use for pierced ears. It made it heal quickly and didn't dry it out. Also when you take a shower use antibacterial soap to clean it. Dial white is good.

Don't use ointment. Use surgical spirit instead. Clean the area twice a day and immediately after shower.

Tea tree oil. Nothing drying, because that encourages your skin to over secrete oils, which attracts infection. Tea tree oil has worked for me everytime. Good Luck!

use an antibiotic ointment so it won't get wet (when you shower) and infected
