Just wondering what "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race" by Fall Out Boy is about?

The song is reportedly about lyricist/bassist Pete Wentz's frustration with the ever growing 'emo scene'. As he told Rolling Stone, "There may be other songs on the record that would be bigger radio hits, but this one had the right message." Wentz got the idea for the arms-dealer metaphor from the Lord of War movie.
personally, i have to agree with this interpretation....."bandwagon's full, please catch another" seems to refer to the scene's growing popularity. also, the video seems to further clarify that message, with the band making fun of themselves and the emo scene.

If you didn't know the lyrics and heard the song for the first time, wouldn't you think it's about a Mercedes-Benz?

I thought it was about guns .. because it says Arms race .. arms = guns...
