I prefer that couples be a little restrained in their affection in public. Holding hands and a quick kiss is fine. I admit that my preference is selfish. I am bisexual and I don't feel comfortable doing anything more with a man in public than I do if I'm with a woman. I also like to avoid doing things that I would find disgusting if my grandparents did in public. I just think the same rules should apply for everyone and not that you can make out all you want if you look like Barbie and Ken and other people can't.

never offensive, I think that is great. If we see people showing affection kissing, hugging, holding hands, saying out loud I love you maybe the world will catch on and we will have a happier planet. You keep doing what you are doing.

it depends on how much affection is displayed. there are limits. subtle things like holding hands and such aren't at all offensive, kissing in public is not offensive either as long as its not some make out session with a lot of tongue and spit. it just depends on the environment. just my opinion. in conclusion, yes and no just depending on how much of a show is put on.

Holding hands and quick kissing, not offensive.

Sticking your tongue down each others throat for 5+ minutes, could be deemed offensive in some places.

Fraternization of any kind should be kept to a social standard. I think it does affect singles more though - it's like eating in front of the hungry :)

I am fine with holding hands, hugging, a light kiss or a quick pinch on the bottom but beyond that can better be enjoyed in the confines out of sight.

I think a kiss or holding hands is fine. I just don't want to see people in a makeout session. If they get to the point of drooling on each other they need to go someplace private.

I just don't like sloppy displays of affection in public.

Not offensive.

If you're like, sitting there making out and groping on each other, then yes, that's offensive.

But a little peck, holding hands, arms around each other, simple things like that, I don't care about. I think it's rather cute, really.
