It seems that you are a believer of predestination where your whole life is already coursed out for you. I guess we will have to respect a person's view but think for a moment if that is the case then we are living useless meaningless lives as everything is mapped out for us by our creator.
The real answer is that all our actions and deeds reflect on the outcome of our future. We make things happen and we do not wait for things to happen. Simple to say we have been given the gift of freewill, something that was not granted to any other creation apart from the humanbeing due to our power to reason and our intellect.
Therefore we set our own course and future.

For me it doesn't matter weather you were born in December or not. You are what you are now because of the choices you made not because you were born in May or in December. Therefore, you will be the kind of person you will be tomorrow depending on the choices you will make.
