I'm 13. C cup, and she makes me wear every day a bra like the one at http://www.anita.com/de/en/0,1,104,1478,39236__products-detail.htm It has 4 hooks in the back. I dont like but she says it's for my best and doesn't back off. Do I have to obey? she's nice but said it's decided. And when summer comes? she said I'll keep wearing it anyway.

Oh dear, you poor thing, I honestly don't know what mom is thinking, maybe she figures "the girls" should be all covered up or the boys might start looking (thats the only thing I can think of). I bet she took you to the dept. store and some old lady came over and knew just by looking at your boobs what size they were, too. (that happened to me UGH!!!) But honey, I'm 36 and I've never worn ones like that and my girls are lets just say alot bigger then c's, for crying out loud my 76 year old mother wears sports bras!!!
Now, I do agree that you should be wearing one, especially in PE and during sports, because c's are a good size for a girl your age and I'm sure you don't want stretch marks or saggy boobs BUT there are sooooooooo many really cute, and nice, and colourful bras I find there is NO reason you have to wear yucky ones.
If I was you...not to defy your mom or anything but....I'd save up some money and go buy my own!!! Hey, maybe if you buy a matching thong or g-string she'd be sooo focused and mad at that, that she'll forget all about your pretty new bra.
I don't know, mom's are an odd breed, at least thats what my 15 year old boy says!!!

Good Luck honey!!! Happy "undergarment" shopping

I hate bra's too, and any form of restrictive clothing, yet i'm fortunate i'm an AA so i for my area do not want one even while working or doing activities. not something plenty bounces, no one has ever given me seems or commented, and jointly as i'm 38 now not something has began to sag; there is merely not something there to sag! With a C cup i assume you do want one, a minimum of in public, even even though it could't be as undesirable to bypass braless at homestead. See source for an prolonged article on what help does and a few scientific rates pointing out this is not risky, yet even healthful, to bypass braless now and lower back besides the fact that in case you have huge ones.

Probably to avoid you having back problems. Just tell her that it's itchy, that you'd like a more comfortable bra, and there are some 4 hooks in the back bras that aren't that awful looking and bring tons of support. Just go with her to a store and ask for help choosing. :)

that is totally wrong, there are lts of bras that provide the suppor you need that doesn't look like it belongs on a 80 year old women, espicially this summer there would be no way to ever look cute in a tank top.

You are a C cup, and larger breast sizes may hurt a young girls back and whatnot. Even if you don't like it, you should wear it anyhow. Really, no one is going to see it, unless you're flashing everyone your bra. As time goes by, I'm sure your mother will be willing to allow you to pick out bras yourself, but until then you should be happy your mother is helping out.

Have you posted this question before? It looks really familiar.
Anyway, it seems like she insists you wear these kinds of bras because they provide good support (that's a lot to carry for a 13 year-old, and you definitely want/need great support at this young age because if you wear crappy bras, you can get back problems, muscle problems, and saggy breasts as you get older. yuck!).
Modesty/coverage is probably also another aim of hers. This is understandable--you're 13 and well-developed, surrounded by horny 13 year-old boys!!! You need to respect yourself and demand that they respect you, and wearing a skimpy bra will only hurt your self-esteem and relationship skills in the end.
Sooo....
1) There are lots of sports/athletic bras out there that provide excellent (think: good enough to jog in!) support; your mom can't dispute that.
2) These bras are also very modest--they cover thoroughly AND they have no itchy/annoying lace!!!
2) They look age-appropriate--at 13 you don't want to look like you're ready to pose for Victoria's Secret catalogues, but you also don't look like you belong in a nursing home.
Please review these points with your mom in a calm, mature, thoughtful manner. Assure her you understand and agree with her motivations (they really are for your best interest--great support and respect from guys!!). However, tell her there are better options (i.e. high-quality sports bras) that are comfier and even healthier (better support, all-cotton material that doensn't itch/irritate your skin).
Good luck! Being 13 can really suck, but you'll get through it.

In reference to a later respondent: there are sports bras out there that won't give you that gross "uni boob" look. Trust me! There are really cute, comfy and supportive ones out there. Once mom gets cooler, you can do the Wonderbra push-up non-sports bra variety, but as long as you're underage and under her roof (and she's paying for your underwear!) you're going to have to compromise.

Sports bras, hummm...they are really comfy.
But, make sure you get a lot of varied, different, colored, sports bras.
But, if you really want, ask your mom if you could get one or two nice and good push-up bras for special occasions.

aaah that's huge. what's her logic exactly? tell her that they make cute bras that offer enough support. check out victoria's secret. their pink line is made especially for teenagers. it's not a good time to wear granny bras when you're only 13.
