What the hell are YOU doing in the Romance section of bookstores (I assume you were; else how do you know they are there???)!
Seriously; most women are eternally romantic....most! And it's a creative thing; reading romantic books keeps the romance alive. In the modern busy and rushing world, where everyone works and has big commitments; it can be difficult to keep romance ALIVE. In this way; the woman of the world are doing men a favour; in keeping the ideals of romance alive by reading romantic novels etc... it gives one the idea that it is alive and well.... well that's what I think. I have not been to the library for months!

Romance writers are the most prolific writers on the planet and if you are reader of great magnitude (such as I) then you read everything you can get your hands on and the romance genre is huge. It's entertaining, it takes you on trips all over the world, it makes you feel good when you are done (rarely is there blood and gore in a romance!) and woman like to feel good. I know a man that would rather read a romance than any other type of book. He is a good man, a romantic man, and man of high intelligence and I wouldn't trade my 88 year old dad for any of you testosterone bearing boobs for the world!

We are all looking for a glimpse of something that we don't get in our otherwise miserable boring little lives !
