i configured as best i can. Out of 4 downloads, 2 have green faces and 2 have yellow faces. from what i read, the green faces are what you need. Now, one of my downloads have over 100 connections (Peers and Seeds) and yet in pulling only 50k and 60k. the other thing that bugs me is when my friend downloads, he pulls over 100k, i get the exact torrent he used and only pull anywhere between 50k and 70k. i may hit 100k+ once or twice for about 10 sec through the entire download. what could i do to get faster downloads.
just to put it out there i go through a Linksys wireless router with the wep on. i have no firewall and i have roadrunner braodband internet.

The same EXACT thing with me except I use uTorrent. everything else is exactly the same with me and it makes me mad because I was so certain the torrents should go faster than 50 kb/s I think it's our router with a built in firewall, I can't think of anything else. :(
Our internet is quick and we get a lot of seeds, it has to be the router's auto firewall or something. Also on uTorrent on the bottom I get this red "!" sign that says "A firewall/router is limiting your network traffic" so that must be it.
