I took some pills my doctor prescribed for me last month to delay my menses as I went for a trip. My cycle is very regular, and as soon as the medicine finished, I had my menses. Now, my menses is about a week late and I have all the symptoms of pregnancy - nausea, swollen breasts, tiredness ... so could I be pregnant, or are all these the side effects of the medicine that I took to delay my menses last month?

First thing first if u still had menses that means u r not pregnant....It happens that once u take these pills u have symptons as when u r pregnant.
But always remember that if u have ur menses then u cannot be pregnant. U cannot have menses during pregnancy...Menses stop as the process of ovulation gets discontinued..

Well if you were on progesterone to delay your period, it's possible I guess...though usually you get the "pregnancy" symptoms while taking the pills. If you think you could be pregnant, just get a pregnancy test....that's the only way to be sure.

your body could have just gotten thrown off by your pill!...wait a little longer, or get a blood test...
