I keep dreaming of my exboyfriend and the dreams feel so real. When I wake up, I feel that my dreams must have just occurred.

Dreaming is the realm of the subconcious. what you dream is dictated by what goes on in your mind, of which you are not even aware. Things which have passed, linger as memories, but what cannot be remembered but which is really etched deep in the subconcious surface at times in dreams. You may not really remember those tiny bits of whatever it was you did, but these manifest in dreams at times and leave one wondering as in your case. the subconcious even goes a step further, and mixes up information from various sources and literally makes up a new story for you! Have you ever had a dream where you are dreaming of something one moment and it breaks and you "think" well I wish it happened this way, and you go back to dreaming but thistime like you wanted it? How many times have you had a bad dream, and in your dream itself have you consoled yourself that " Hey it's just a dream!!!" In my personal opinion, dreams don' really mean anything, but are a projection of your fears, your needs, wants and desires, and of course, a lot of filling in by the subconcious mind. I wouldn't let it bother me!!!!

It may just be that you recently broke up so you are reminded of things that jog your memory....even if you don't realize!!

it is a hard situation but you havent said what happens in the dreams if it is something bad ie he dies you probably want o forget but if it is something good like u an him being happy together then it could be you hearts way of saying you want to be with him... obviously it is a bit hard coz hes ur ex but you should speak to him if you can and see how he is been and try to become friends and then maybe if he is back in ur life (not necessary as a bf) then you mite lose him from your dreams!!

I think it is very normal,,you are still not over the relationship as a relationship that does not necessarily mean that you are still in love with him..you have to know that this will take some time however you can reduce this time by involving yourself in a new activity that will occupy good pat of your thinking..do something you like...join the gym, learn a new language, take art classes whatever interests you..and I guarantee your dreams will change also your real life..

I used to dream of a girl alot, but in my mind it just turned out after i thought it through that we parted in such a way that made it seem as if there were lots of loose ends. I called her one day to see how she was doing and it resolved everything on my end....though I think she was under the impression that I was trying to start talking to her again ;p ........changed my phone number soon after ;p

Dear Friend,
You might have not get rid of him completely from your mind this could be a possibility you keep dreaming about him.Normally you dream such pictures which you paint in our mind and keep constantly thinking about them.
Try to bypass such thoughts from your mind and get free from this situation.

Dreams could be stored memories, or, ambitions or intense wishes, or in some cases, premonitions and alerts: they could be symbolic and not direct, in many cases! In your case, it might be memories that you don't want erased! If they are not pleasant, you have to make efforts to erase!
