I learned some time ago that contrary to popular beliefs, anger isn't a real emotion; but rather an extreme expression of fear. Taking that into account, I think a lot people get angry because certain situations that happen, certain behaviors by certain people trigger some deep rooted insecurities about something else; possibly something related to a childhood experience. So the mind and body; struggling to find a way to react to this situation starts frantically looking for a way to cope with what's happening. That coping mechanism, I believe, is anger.
