i love Mario! :) haha. i used to play that all the time when i was little with my brother.. but anyway i don't really know the year i first played it... but my brother got one when i was like probably 5-ish.. but i don't know when i Played it.. hmm.. too young to remember.. sorry.. haha so i don't know why i answered this question since i obviously don't have the slightest clue.. but oh well ;)

its about 1986,i think when it first came out, that was a big hit, even though its 2 dimensional, unlike now its 3d, but i thinks the later was more challenging than the new ones, the new ones are more like propagandas and gimmicks, mario 3 nes is also good,i just downloaded it from some sites. and its playable in pc. good stuff

1986--my brother and I got it for Christmas! I took it with me when I moved out and the box still has some wrapping paper stuck to it. Myself, my roommates, and our boyfriends still play it! hahaha we're losers and we love it.
