and they messed up when they partitioned my hard drive. It's as if I have only 20G of memory when I have a 200G hard drive. Is there anyway I can fix this problem myself, or do I have to send it back to get it fixed?

some times you get a false reading on the size
of your hard drive. everything might be ok.
does it list a partioned drive of a few gigs.
if you can get into setup
clicking on f1 or f2 at startup watch and see if the screen tells you which one to use.
then look for hard drive and cd rom drives using ur arrow keys to explore.
if you can put your hard drive on auto if it isn;t saying that now by highlighting hd drive then using plus or minus signs to set to auto then hit f10 then click on the save option and hit enter.this should take you too startup screen

they messed up you mean the support the only way to fix this now is to format and start over but it is new computer and your new to this so i would not even try to do that your self call them back say they messed it up on you and you want the computer taken back to be fix also ask them about the system recovery if you ever run into problems do you have to make up your system restore cd for the computer to me it seems that the support you had bean given the person on the phone dont even know what he /her is talking about send the thing back to them and tell them to fire the person who messed up your new computer
