what are the bulding codes in baja mexico?

I want to build a home in mexico and need to know where I can get information about there bulding codes if there are any. Please, no dumb answers like... "just bribe the officer".

The building codes in Baja are limited to non-existent. Closer to the coast there is more enforcement, but inland there is much less regulation.

You will need to check directly with the local "City Hall" for the place you want to build to see what their requirements are.

They are always looser than the US.
