Remind him that this is a marriage, not dating. He must consider you in what he does. Tell him that you can always leave a pillow and quilt on the sofa for him if he doesn't start treating you like a wife instead of an unpaid housekeeper.

Its hard to answer that without know what he's selfish and stubborn about... but usually people react to selfish and stubborn people by being selfish and stubborn back... try being nice, and acting opposite of how you would usually think about... its not always easy, but if you take care of him, he will WANT to take care of you... its totally opposite of what you would think, but it really does work...

deprive him of sex each time he misbehaves. if it doesn't help stop cooking for him. he misbehaves u tell him " u've been naughty" , the next day he leaves for work without breakfast. if he doesn't apologise he stays without dinner too. and so on. sooner or later he will learn how to behave. i mean skinner's rats did, i presume your hubby has more intelligence than a rat

I think that you need to base your relationship off of JESUS... It works for my relationship with my wife as well as my friends relationships.
