my husband and I use a ovulation calander to prevent pregnancy( neither of us wan't to have a baby at this point)and when I checked it today I noticed that the date for my last period was 2 days off which means I was ovulating when we had sex.I have always been very fertile so I can be almost positive that I concieved, and what makes it worse is that like a week ago I had mentioned that I wouldn't mind having one more baby and he freaked! I didn't mean that I want ed one in the near future but I am so afraied that he will think that I did this on purpous. should I wait untill I know for sure to tell him? How can I make him understand that this was truley an accident?

We do not believe in abortion and there is no way that I could carry a baby all those months and then give it up.

The longer you keep this to yourself, the less he will believe you when the truth comes out. Tell him now. He'll get over being mad. :-)

The technical term for people using the ovulation calender as a form of birth control is parents.
A typical failure rate can be as high as 25% (1 in 4 women using this method will become pregnant within a year) whereas condoms have a 6% failure rate.
I am sure your husband must realise the limitations of this method and accepts the fact that there is a risk of pregnancy.
I suggest that before getting too excited you wait until a pregnancy test can confirm that you are indead pregnant and then tell your husband like normal people do.
Depending on your beliefs there are still opportunities to rectify the situation although if you want to make sure that you are not accidentally pregnant it is better that you see a doctor now and have a chemical abortion.
Good luck but don't blame yourself too much because these things are not perfect.

children are never really planned. we have three and all of them were an "oops" not an "accident". sit down as soon as possible and talk to your hubby about what happened and remember that if he says it was your fault to remind him that it takes two to make one. he wanted to play , now he might have to pay. if he was so sure about not bringing in a new life then he should have worn protection. it is both parties responsibility. that being said, May God bless you and answer your prayers.

If it was an accident, then it was HIS accident too. You didn't conceive that baby by yourself. If he wanted to be 100% sure then he could had used condoms but OF COURSE machos usually don't like it cause......."i can't feel anything" so it isn't all your fault.
He needs to take extra precaucions next time.........

I would make sure i am pregnant before i talk to him

those pills are so bad for you that you probably didn't actually start ovulating. Actually people often times can't get pregnant for months later after those things... and you should wait. you should have found out before you said anything. in the future keep that in mind. unless of course the guy wants a kid.

Tell him right now. It will involve him in this process and believe it or not, times like this have more of a chance to bring you closer than they do to pull you apart.

Sounds like you both aren't too intelligent. If you truly didn't want to get pregnant you would have used some sort of birth control. A freakin calendar isn't any form of birth control.

So needless to say, stupid is as stupid does.

Next time stick with oral and anal. Can't get pregnant that way.

Tell him the truth!
the human body has it's own clock, and it's not always running true!
