What you worry about the most, what your afraid of that may happen to you, like worried about getting fat, or becoming poor, or failing a test, or what ever you think about a lot may become a self fulfilling prophecy. Keep your thoughts positive, believe the best for yourself and those around you all the time.. Never dwell on the negative. Be grateful always for what you have. Give your power of thought always to the positive, never to the negative....It works......... I swear..

Approx. 1½ weeks ago My Brother-in-Law and I Came up with the Phrase "Life Sucks, Wear a Helmet" Anytime some one goes on with the 'poor me' or that sucks thing its the first thing that comes to mind, it may not be a Nugget of wisdom but it fits, As for a Nugget of Wisdom, ( Sorry for the Side Track ) I've All ways Held True to the Words of An Extreme Snowboarding Expert i Saw in a Commercial on some Sports Channel at like 3AM one Night...

A fair few but the one that comes to mind right now is something my dad told me. He said, "Never tell someone you already know what they've been telling you, because sooner or later they'll stop telling you anything and you'll miss something important." I think he's right on that.
There's also a good old saying from Yorkshire that says: "The higher the monkey climbs, the more he shows his ****."
Another from my dad, is that today will soon be yesterday, meaning today's troubles will be tomorrow's memories. That one has got me through some tough times; you can endure anything if you know tomorrow will come.

Firstly "Never discard or volunteer information."
I was also told "never assume anything" and I have remembered that to this day and I am 60 now, I was 15 at the time!
Another one was "don't put it down, put it away" and I remember saying that to my kids when they were young, and I find it going through my head even now when emptying the dishwasher etc., and I am a very tidy person as a result!

When I was a boy, I had a neighbour who was a chinese man in his 80's I used to sit with him in his garden and we would talk about all sorts of things. I once asked him why the sky was blue. He answered by saying "Because it isn't any other colour". This puzzled me and I told him. He then said to me "Nothing is ever as complicated as it first seems. There is always a much simpler answer to the most complicated of questions". This has stuck with me 30 years on.

this one is fresh from last week and currently whenever I find myself in a spot of trouble, with the constraints of society, politics and peer pressure and all these things I ask myself:
"What would a free man do?"
Got it from the film '300'. It's quite useful actually, that line.
I also like what your boss said. Reminds me of a line:
"When you assume it's making an A.S.S. out of yoU and ME."

When married treat your marriage like a corn field. Plant good thoughts, reap the harvest that is a good marriage.
Same person also said when Life is tough pray to god then let go and let god handle it.
Told to me by: The Late Reverend OC Smith.

Its a bit long winded but...
women are like apples on trees. the best ones are at the top of the tree. most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. instead they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they are amazing. they just have to wait for the right man to com along, the one who is brave enuf to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
now men, men are like a fine wine. they begin as grapes and its up to women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

When in a relationship, never expect anything. Never expect flowers, never expect to be taken out or treated etc. When something good happens, it is so much sweeter for it.
Also, if you're getting married - remember EVERYTHING you can about the day. That also worked!

My maternal granddad, a lying, cheating, worthless drunken SOB if there ever was one, let a single pearl of wisdom slip from his drooling lips amid an ocean of drek. I never forgot it.
"Don't sh*t where you eat"
It can apply to just about anything. Don't dis the job that pays your bills. Don't dump on your friends who have your back. Don't trash your home where you live. Etc etc.
