Nor for many years. The last time I did, it was to see where my grandfather was laid to rest. We share the same name, so it was rather odd to see my name a grave marker.

Visits to grave sites have been some of the best family road trips that I can remember. As both child and adult. It is an honoring of family and remembrance of history that is important to share with the youngest generation. Love and caring can be continued and nurtured through visits to clean and replant sites. It is also learned through passages of rituals from generation to generation. Sadly more often than not these visits are falling to the wayside. My family will continue to go as long as I am able. Hopefully one of my offspring will take on the tradition.

Not really. I don't too much like going to cemetaries. But, if I have nothing to do and think of the person, I will go see them. I generally am a busy person, so that doesn't happen much. But that doesn't mean I don't think of the person all the time.
