I have this song in my head since I heard it over the radio. I dont know the title. Its driving me crazy! It was sung by a male artist or a band with a male vocalist.

Circa 70s or 80s

Please help. Thanks.

No... Its not Elton John either. And its not Another Level too...

To my ear... the actual song goes something like

"You're breakin' my heart in two and I don't know what to do"

Alright, if it is not Another Level then maybe it is the Cars:

Why Can't I Have You by the Cars:

Dreamy lips set in motion flashing
Breathless hush pounding soft lasting
Glossy mouth taste untamed moving
Carousel up and down
Just like you

CHORUS
Oh baby
Just one more time to touch you
Just one more time to tell you
You're on my mind
Baby, why can't I have you
You're breaking my heart in two
You know what I'm going through
Oh baby, why can't I have you

Candy smile all the while glinting
Your eyes like mica lethal pout hinting
Felt the pressure tight and warm softly striking
I tripped and stumbled
I cling forever
I go all night

I know it doesn't have "i don't know what to do" in it but "you know what I am going through" sounds similar. :)
