Call me conservative or old-fashioned, but I'd still view sex as something that's very special for two people who love each other and will stay together (as a married couple) for the rest of their lives. From my viewpoint as a woman, I guess the worse thing about premarital sex is that a woman loses a very big part of her dignity (whether she admits it or not) everytime she does it with someone who isn't her husband.

There's not an issue with premarital sex; the problem is with those who don't think about its consequences. Sex is a big deal, no matter how much some will try to downplay it.

First is the emotional side; if someone isn't emotionally ready, he or she could now face more stress than able to handle. Imagine dealing with this alone since you don't know (unless in a long-term relationship with a mature partner) if he or she will be around the next day.

Secondly, a major issue with sex for those not ready is the physical side. Pregnancy and/or sexually transmitted diseases would fall into this category. If someone is unable to financially, emotionally and/or physically handle these possible outcomes, an innocent child is now brought into play.

If two, mature adults are consenting, premarital sex is not a bad thing as long as they know, and understand, the consequences that may come along for the ride (no pun intended). :)

babies having babies. STD's. I do engage in premarital sex, but im responsible about it. Im 22 dont have any kids and dont have any STD's. The bad thing about premarital sex is that there are alot of people out there who are not smart and responsible about it. Thats the only thing i can think of, because. The bad thing about not have premarital sex is that you might get stuck with someone who sucks in bed.
