Does anyone know if its possible to get employment in Singapore (for international students) after doing a Diploma course for 6 months or a year?

Thank you for great answers people, i understood how diploma from Nanyang etc has more value...I'd also like to know further if a diploma course in Travel & Tourism or a general management field can land a job and eventually a PR for an international student? You see, the thing is, all of us don't have the grey matter to do genetics etc...so what do you all think are good options for not-very-bright-crayons like me?

it depends on several factors:
-the diploma awarded by which institute? if its by private institute such as mdis,etc is more difficult...if its government polytechnic such as singapore poly, ngee ann poly ,NYP,TP is much muich easier...
-also..how easy u can land onto a job also depends on wat type of diploma...(eg dip in biotech, dip in biz) the more specilise courses such as diploma in optometry are much easier to get ajob..(demand in the market)

Sorry, but you have to be more specific in your intent. Student Pass is not difficult but do you want to study private or Government.
