how do i change the air filter on 1981 yahama special 400cc?

what is the part number and where can you get the filter on line

if all you are changing is the filter and not the box, the there should be side covers on each side of the box. take those off, and the fliter should slide out. don't lose the clip that holds it in.

Change? - the front and rear halves of the air boxes are bolted together.
Separate them.
