The only ones in Korea who are poor are the working class peasants. National resources are poured into military arms and nuclear technology, rather than feeding the starving population of N. Korea.
Kim Jung Il is definitely a madman.

They probably are rich, it's just that most of the money is spent on the nuclear program and other military purposes. Also, this isn't because they are communist; Cuba is communist and the quality of life there is excellent. Trust me, I've been there, and while they might not be as advanced as us, they are certainly far happier then we are.
