If the Rockets can stay healthy into the playoffs, they can open a few eyes. Yao is having a monster season and T-Mac has added playmaking to his arsenal. Luther Head is shooting lights out, Shane Battier's has contributed offensively and defensively, Juwon Howard stepped up when Yao was out, Bonzi Wells is an excellent low-post scorer, and Hayes and Mutombo are grabbing every rebound in sight. No one is going to look forward to facing the Rockets in the playoffs. What they probably need right now is a good backup point guard for when Alston sits down.

Nothing is wrong with the Houston rockets. If you look at it, the only thing wrong about their team is that Yao and T-Mac don't play together for almost half of the season. When both men are healthy, they are unstoppable. Currently, they are on a 4-game winning streak. They are also ranked third in the most competitive division. They have the best winning percentage that they have ever reached in years. I think they may be headed to a 50-plus win season this year.

they havent had a healthy team all year until just recently so there is no reason they should be in the top 4 seeds. the rockets are a good team, and defensively sound. just wait until yao gets back to game shape and let he and mac gel. they will cause some damage in the playoffs.

the rockets should be in the top three I'm not really sure what's going on there. t-mac just kinda lost his touch after he got traded but yao he sucks for as tall as he is he sucks the rockets use him to much they give him the ball he turns around and miss it i don't know but they need to get there act together.

It's called Karma. (giggles)

After T-Mac chose not to play in the next All-Star Game should it be in New Orleans(and help the city get back on its feet), T-Mac was cursed by the basketball gods to taste defeat and disappointment for the rest of the season (and it ain't over yet coz the playoff disappointment is still to come).

injuries keep them from showing the true strength of their roster, especially when their two big guns (yao and tmac) were sidelined......but if you will analyze, rockets is a play-off contender team.....they have the offense, yao is deadly on the post while tmac will take charge of the wings.....and their specialty, defense...

They play in the biggest podunk town on the planet. Everything that comes on the news is BREAKING NEWS and they have this guy that says slime, slime, slime, SLIME IN THE ICE MACHINE! It doesn't get anymore podunk than that.

No other major city would tolerate such silliness.
