The insulting answers get 7 & 8 thumbs up, while the helpful answers get 7 & 8 thumbs down. Shouldn't this be the other way around? I asked a question about losing weight & a guy cursed me out & called me fatty & got so many thumbs up it's RIDICULOUS.

if it's such a big deal to you, lessen the odds. figure out what's making you a target and make the necessary changes to avoid that in the future.
most of us get thumbs down or up that are seemingly inappropriate in a pc world. it happens. roll with it. that's what i do.

Under which category did you ask your question? If you want serious answers go to the appropriate category. Polls and Surveys is never about the serious answers.
