The mirage was a joint venture between hyundai and mitsubishi in the early 90's. It was all but identical to the hyundai excel. They weren't fast, beautiful, or glamorous, but they would get you there if you took reasonable care of them. They were very cheap and got good gas mileage. Just an average econobox, really.

Basically a Mitsubishi Lancer. It was a compact car in the 90's and when they changed the body style they changed the name to the Mitsubishi Lancer, but to the rest of the world, it always been known as the Mitsubishi Lancer.
