when multiplying a - and a + you always get a - no matter what. When you add them you take the sign of the bigger number. if you have -10 and + 17 you take the + and subtract 10 from 17 leaving you with + 7 as answer. hope that helps.

In my experience most scorpios are negative and most aquarius are positive. Now if these two got together and multiplied, you could assume that it would have to be the only time the scorpio was drunk. Therefore, it was on the scorpio's birthday, and its sign would be scorpio as well.

It will always be negative. That has trapped many a student in to the chasm of a lot of work, only to find the sign of the final answer was wrong. Been there - done that.
