No, I have always had very regular menstruation and it took me a whole year to get pregnant.

Not necessarily. It all depends on your age, fitness etc etc etc. I had a regular period and it took me about 11 months. I think I stressed about it too much!! Anywhere between 6 - 12 mths is normal. You only have 20% chance of falling pr even if you have timed it and evrything.

Not connected to each other. But it is easier to determine when you ovulate, and have sex on those dates in order to get pregnant.
