Each is from different Nokia phone category.
5300 is more fun, smaller and more stylish. But 3250 is based on S60 SmartPhone platform. This gives access to many applications for the phone. it also has the swivel control module.

it depends on your usuage of your phone actually. 5300 is a more well functioned music phone compared with 3250 which could be a little laggy at times. the 5300 has a 1.3 megapixel camera while the 3250 has a two megapixel camera.

i think that 5 series is better than 3 series so try 5300...if you want to compare its features...visit nokia.com.
