It is a small world. I am referring to the small world effect. It is a theory that says that in an irregular network (like social structures) will have most if not all points effecting all other points simultaneously. Although this theory has not been proven as fact you just have to think about it for two seconds to see that there is something more to it.

So my question is, if we are all effecting each other constantly, are we not the ones (in at least some small part) forming what the world is today and what it will be tomorrow? And if that is so, do we not hold a responsibility to try and change our effect for the better?

Please answer only if you understand the question.

Thanks.

Very well put. You are referring to the six degrees. This is where you can link any person in the world with another within six people. Say for example you like hockey... I have met sports announcers, who have in turn talked to players of your favourite team. You have gotten autographs of all the players... Linking me to you. This example is on the hypothetical side, but is a good example of what you are talking about. I have experienced things like this all too often, and realize how small of a world it can be... There fore I try not to step on people's toes. If by chance I had royally pissed the announcer off before the game start. He then does a pre-game interview with one of your teams players and affects the player to the point he doesn't play a good game. Your team loses because of the player. Because your team lost, I have affected you.

We do have a responsibility to the rest of humanity..... I believe that if we concentrate as a group on peace and harmony, we may slowly effect change. Mass consciousness is real, so real in fact that we could change anything, including the weather if we, enough of us could come together on common ground. Have you ever heard of the talk show host Art Bell? He has done experiments on his show with the weather, and got amazing results. Frankly though the best we can do as a single entity would be to just keep a good outlook on life, everyday, keep positive, think positive, and hope we can influence one person at a time. The world is so caught up now in war, and global warming, that thoughts are so negative and how do you get people to understand that by thinking those things all the time they may be perpetuating them.

There are scientists like "Einstein" Theory of relativeity and "Wheeler's" Hypothesis on "Law without Law". and Lord Buddha's "Analysis of Mind and matter" all leads to the fact that "This world is participative. Some effect appears immediately as a cause and some effect appears with a delay. Some effect apppears when the time, situation and mental state are different. That time, we are not aware about by which cause this appeared. But, each of our "Mental" thoughts got a far fetching effect like a ripple in the water born out of a stone fall. One has to be "responsible" even on all his thoughts. I join with you with my level of understanding. But, small and big world are our discrimination born out of "Mind" again.
