when i press the clutch the smallest fraction i.e 4mm it becomes really high pitched but if i depress the clutch half way it goes. it is a new clutch so im not sure if its normal or needs looking at.

what you describe is typical of a faulty or worn clutch release bearing. my first thoughts are that you have been charged for a complete assembly & only a center plate or s/hand parts have been fitted. advise you to obtain opinon from main agent. then enquire what make of clutch fitted. mfd always pay total labour costs & replace foc beware of letting them near your vehicle again. sue if necessary

It is not normal and it needs looking at ,check your drive belts to make sure that they are tight ,if they are ok take the car back to the garage what fitted your new clutch ,and ask them to check the clutch that they fitted .

sounds like the thrust bearing in the clutch. I would have thought if you have had a new clutch they would have replaced it as a matter of course but just ask them. if they havent its a pretty sure bet thats what it is.

It looks like the clutch release bearing has failed. Check your alternator drive belt also.

YEP SOUNDS LIKE EVEN THOUGH THEY CHANGED THE CLUTCH THEY DIDNT CHANGE THE THROUGHOUT BEARING AND IT IS THE PROBLEM .

It is more than likely a belt, like your alternator belt. You should have it tightened up, before it gets too bad and your battery stops charging.
