IN college it is pretty close....as far as alums in the NBA there is no question....GO HEELS!!!!!!!!

Overall I thik Carolina has the edge in talent but Duke has the edge in coaching. I am a Duke fan but over many years of alumni I have to say out of a seven game series Tarheels in 7 in double overtime.

throughout time, duke and north carolina are pretty evenly matched in the college game. but if youre talking about alumni, then i think carolina has the better ones. many dukies dont pan out well in the nba. the few that have are maggette, brand, i guess battier, hill, boozer. while NC has tons of great nba players.

ive been asserting for a pair of weeks that n.c. has "it" they are able to shoot from the exterior and are nicely familiar with overcoming issues or early struggles. they'll bypass deeper in march and that i think of they're the nationwide champions.
