Oh wow, this exact same thing happened to me not even 5 minutes ago...
He acts like he doesn't care and that it wouldn't hurt him at all if we broke up...I asked him if what he wanted was to break up and he said "whatever you want". Yet we are happy, I mean truly happy, we always laugh together and I know he loves me and I love him more than anything, we have been together a little over 4 years. We got into a little argument tonight and this is the result, he could care less if I leave. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to take away from you, this is your question, it is just weird how it literally just happened to me and your question was the first one I read.
