The best thing is that you are ready to accept that you are doing something bad and it can be considered as the first step towards getting rid of such brhaviour. The basic reasons for such behaviour include lack of confidence, will power, pat history of some bad experience and social environment. The solution for coming out of such situations will obviously depend upon the diagnosis of the actual reason. However, expanding your knowledge base, improved self confidence and will power will definitely help. If possible help of meditation/yoga /art of living etc trainings can be thought of.
But, the main thing is to try to divert your attention at that particular moment when situation for such behaviour arises.

It depends on the behaviour itself. Repetitive behaviour which has no foundation can be unlearnt using cognitive behavioural methods - techniques designed to "unlearn" the behaviour (sometimes using aversive techniques).

Other behaviours require in-depth psychoanalysis i.e. if something is caused by a traumatic childhood event, then the event has to be uncovered and dealt with. The techniques in the first paragraph won't apply to this.

Generally, behavioural therapists say it takes the human mind 4 weeks to learn a new behaviour.

It would have been better if you would have mention the things which concern you most. Anyway what ever may be , you can follow below mention things rather than trying to change you at a time.
1)If you think you are smoking too much don’t stop at a day rather try something which can compensate it. Like you can do breath exercise in the early morning.
2)If you think you are harsh to anyone then after the incident call him and explain the things which made you anger at that time.
3)If you think you have done something wrong to someone then do something good to him or someone else.

Overall what I want to say no one is perfect but the key things is you can compensate it with your good deeds.

By learning not to love them so much. You obviously like them so much yet are aware that to do so and be so openly will derive the chastisement you will receive from others who must already know how to live falsely and you want to be like them so you pretend to overcome some habits by labeling them under some qualifying word like bad as compared to the way they are good and set within you because somewhere and some time you enjoyed them and labeled them good and now no-one is ever going to take them away from you and least of all because of the truth.

congratulations , You have already come to the first step, since you have realised certain behaviour of yours is bad.Perhaps you are still not able to refrain from doing it because it has almost become your second habit. Now you start making an analysis the people you have hurt through such behaviour. Then it will lead to self realization and than slowly you will over come such behaviour

The fact that you are realizing your actions to be bad, you and your actions are not bad at all.

You are just and simply confused and you are not focussed. This brings on restlessness and it naturally reflects in your actions.

So develop some interest get focussed start working and enjoying it. You will not get time for others things...

Have faith and move on in life...

Recognise yourself. Count the gift which have been given to you by god and discover the way to feel it. When you will quench your thirst of heart your bad behaviours will automatically disappear.

Sure you can. It's as simple as mind over matter. You have to really want to change or have some kind of motivating factor in your life that would inspire you to change. Some people go to religion for this.. especially catholics. lol Me personally, I think of what people are going to say at my eulogy. How do I want to be remembered?

Don't ever do anything wrong purposely, and you'll never have to lie. And if you make a mistake, don't lie, everyone makes mistakes!
